Repair and Calibration Services
- What and Where
- Centurion NDT repairs and calibrates eddy current and ultrasonic instruments
manufactured by both Centurion NDT and Magnaflux. The Service Center, located in
Streamwood, Illinois, is the only facility equipped and authorized to service these
instruments.

- How Often
- It is recommended that all instruments be calibrated on an annual basis. However,
the customer may elect to alter the time period based on their own quality program.
As a service to our customers, Centurion NDT sends reminder letters when the instrument is
due for calibration.

- How Much Will It Cost
- Charges on current equipment are on a flat rate basis. This flat rate applies to
the calibration service and incidental parts. More expensive parts, like batteries,
meters, probes, etc., will be quoted over and above the flat rate. The Service
Department will request authorization to proceed with the repair. If it is decided
not to have the repair completed, there will be an evaluation fee applied.

- The warranty on repair and calibration is 30 days.
